The Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra presents their Winter Pops concert, CHILL at 3pm on Sunday, December 1st at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church on Lavista Rd.
Join the ACSO as they "Ditch the Jacket" in their musical journey featuring the sounds of winter.
The ensemble will tell the musical journey of music through the ages and in far off lands. We are inviting our patrons and our musicians to tell their own story of winter at home in Atlanta by bringing new and used winter clothing to help homeless youth in need during the cold winter months. The orchestra is partnering with "Lost-n-Found Youth",an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization that provides services to LGBTQ+ Youth experiencing homelessness.
The concert will also feature artwork created for our Art in Music program by area youth, in their interpretation of Vivaldi's "Winter" from the Four Seasons.
