Event information:
- PARKING
We have no on site parking available, so visitors are requested to park anywhere you wish along the road called Technology Drive, CF31 3NA (not the private business carparks) and then walk to our Visitor Centre. Depending on ability, this is a ten minute walk, so please allow adequate time to arrive at the time shown on your ticket.

- On arrival at our Visitor Centre:
- You will be asked to give your booking name to our receptionist.
- You will then be able to view exhibitions in the grounds of our Visitor Centre and our displays inside.
- Promptly on the hour, a 40 minute presentation will commence from Brett Exton, who is the historian of the camp and hosts the website: www.islandfarm.wales
- After the talk has ended you can then walk from our Visitor Centre to the Hut 9 compound which is a one minute walk.
- There are no time constraints once at the Hut.
The final approach to the Hut compound may be slightly muddy, depending on the weather, so please wear appropriate footwear.
- The Hut Compound:
- When you reach the Hut compound you will be met by our sentry guard and will be escorted inside the Hut.
Please note that the paint on the walls inside the hut is flaking in many places so please wear appropriate clothing. - Whilst inside, you will have the opportunity to meet many living historians. We have worked hard over recent years to kit out each room as it might have looked during the Second World War.
- Outside the Hut we have several WWII displays and there will also be a number of military vehicles for you to see.
- Our cafe (NAAFI) will sell refreshments and snacks.
- A gift shop will sell Island Farm souvenirs.
- Whilst the taking of photographs is permitted, if you intend sharing them with a wider audience due acknowledgement should be given to the Hut 9 Preservation Group who have worked so hard to provide you with the material for your photographs.
- Toilets are available outside the Hut compound.
