Join the ACSO for opening night as trumpet soloist John Thomas Burson dazzles in Haydn’s sparkling Trumpet Concerto in E-flat major, followed by Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5, a sweeping tale of fate, fire, and triumph. We’ll kick things off with Shostakovich’s Festive Overture, because every grand season deserves a proper fanfare!
Parking is FREE.
Bring a book for donation! ACSO is supporting Heartbound Ministries through this event by collecting books for youth and juveniles. Heartbound Ministries mission is to provide purposeful programming for incarcerated persons and their families. The Little Readers program is designed to help get their juvenile youth reading and to provide opportunities for young kids to read with their parents or loved ones in visitation rooms.
